I can tell you over and over again that Jesus is our Great High Priest and that He ministers on our behalf before God in the heavenly tabernacle. But unless we understand the symbols that God gave us through the earthly tabernacle, we will be lacking in our understanding of Who Jesus is and what He has done, and what He is doing even now.

So let’s look at the symbols that God gave Moses.. the pictures that are worth a thousand words. You are probably pretty familiar with the pictures of Christ that we see in the Passover Lamb, and we have been learning about the Day of Atonement, but every day there were sacrifices and worship illustrating the need for Christ and the work of Christ.

I’ll describe the burnt offering as detailed in Leviticus 1 and how the offering represents Christ and His sacrifice for us.
