Happy New Year!

I’m sending greetings to all with hopes and prayers that this year will be one of devotion to Jesus, and delight in the word of God. I am so thankful for the truth and comfort that every word from the Lord gives me every day of the year. Whether it’s a happy day, a sad day, a day of fear and uncertainty, or a day of hard work… the Holy Spirit speaks through the written word of God.

It’s a good time to remember what Jesus told the Devil: “It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

I’ve learned from my amazon sales page that 1300 of my Bible study workbooks were purchased last year! 100 were purchased in December, so I’m guessing that quite a few people are planning on starting the new year in a new study. It has been my prayer from my first day of writing that the Lord would use my books to lead women to a better understanding of the Bible, and into a more intimate fellowship with the Lord. I’d love to hear from you if you are “studying the Bible with me”!

My plans this year include reading through my brand new Bible – the new Legacy Standard version; teaching through my newest study on Luke 22-24 – Believe in Me; and at some point I’ll begin studying and writing my next study which will be on Revelation!

While there is a lot of trouble going on around the world that grieves me, I’m thankful to have these plans for the new year in the word of God.

I love the Aaronic blessing and will close with this prayer for you this year:

Numbers 6:24-27

The LORD bless you, and keep you;

The LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you;

The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.’

Blessings, Elizabeth
