This chapter in Revelation is all about the evil Antichrist and his horrible henchman, the second beast from the earth – the false prophet. These are two real, mortal men who are sold out for Satan. They will be the 2nd and 3rd persons of the counterfeit trinity of the 7-year Tribulation period.

At the beginning of the Tribulation, the Antichrist will arrive as an ambassador for world peace, and make huge headlines when he brokers a 7 year treaty with Israel. For 3 1/2 years, he will rise in power globally over government, religion, and the economy. Then, at the mid-point of the Tribulation, his true, awful, blood-thirsty, red colors will be seen. This is when his behavior as the Beast from the sea begins.

I’ll talk about the characteristics of the Antichrist, and the timeline of his activities in the video below. But the most important thing to remember about this most evil man in history is that God is still in control of all circumstances when the Antichrist shows up. God allows him to carry out Satan’s schemes and deceptions, and God has His purposes for this.
