The radiance – the brilliant, gleaming light of New Jerusalem – has as its source: our God, the  Father of Lights; our Savior Jesus Christ, the Light of the World; and the Holy Spirit who enlightens our understanding.

New Jerusalem will reflect every perfect characteristic of our God, and the first two characteristics that are emphasized are: God’s holiness and God’s glorious light.

It’s not the precious gemstones and golden streets that make the city shine. It is the holiness and glory of God. One day, we will see the full expression of the glory of God! I can’t wait!
