At this point in our study of the book of Ezekiel, we see that the judgement of the Lord against Israel has been carried out. Ezekiel 33 records that an escapee delivers the news to Ezekiel that the city has been captured.
I want you to realize the depth of grief that the Israelites experienced and see how one of them in particular responded to the crisis. This is an example for us to follow in our own times of despair. My talk is a presentation of the book of Lamentations, with comments about each of the 5 chapters of that book.
There is no handout with this lesson but it will be helpful to turn to the book of Lamentations in your Bible.
