Priority Mail

“Did anything come in the mail today?”
Mr. Postman

That’s a familiar question at my house! And the answer is usually – no – just junk mail. Just bills. I don’t anticipate receiving anything very exciting when opening my mailbox.

But I have quite a different expectation when it comes to opening my Bible. I know that the Lord has communicated His truth and His love through the books and prophecies and the letters in the Bible. So opening my Bible is like opening a package marked priority mail. I know it’s important. I know it’s special. I know there is something that God wants to say to me.

For the next 10 weeks, I’ll be sharing videos from my Women’s Bible Study class at Colonial Baptist Church. We are opening the letters of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians to see what the Lord has to say to us through them.

1 Thessalonians 1:1: From Paul and Silvanus and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace and peace to you!

IMG_20130911_081618_770              I actually sent and received letters from a Thessalonian… 30 years ago!

If you would like more information about my workbooks or Bible studies, let me know!
