I took my homemade, amateur oil paintings to my class as visual aids. They are abstract and in a way hard to understand! During my lecture I drew attention to the character of God which includes His holiness, sovereignty, righteousness, love, wisdom and grace. (That isn’t a comprehensive list.) After my lecture, one woman said that she could see a heart in the painting below. As we talked about it, it became a nice illustration of how all of God’s attributes at the same time are the foundation of His actions.
