To God be the GLORY!

That’s what it’s all about.

Ephesians 3:20-21 is Paul’s declaration of praise to God for what He has done and what He is able to do. These two verses in Ephesians bring the first 3 chapters to a grand doxological finale, but rather than making it the last thought before changing subject, they create a transition and  bridge to the next 3 chapters.

This statement of faith and praise is not only related to what Paul has already described in Ephesians 1 -3 but it is also related to what he is about to describe in Ephesians 4 – 6. The first half of Ephesians is about what God has done, and what we are to believe. The second half of Ephesians is about what we are to do and how we are to behave. These verses show us that GOD IS ABLE to work within us so that we will walk according to His ways.

It is truly exciting and I think that the Peak 2 Peak Alpine Gondola in the Whistler-Blackcomb Mountains provides an excellent illustration of what these verses make possible!
