Micah 4:1-8 Messianic Kingdom Feast!

Many wonderful aspects of the Messianic Kingdom are prophesied through Micah and we have enjoyed studying this special time which will come for Israel in the future.

In the workbook, Justice and Mercy, there are many cross-references with details about this time of blessing and joy and peace under the reign of Jesus.

We took a week in our class schedule and tried to experience a little preview… a little taste… of the gathering and fellowship and feasting that will happen under the reign of King Jesus the Messiah.

We noted that Israel will host the nations as they come to learn from the Lord at His temple. We also noted that the Lord will be worshipped at the Feast of Tabernacles and all the nations will be in attendance.

Isaiah tells us:  On this mountain the LORD of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine, of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined. Isaiah 25:6

What a feast everyone enjoyed!

We also invited friends who had participated in previous studies… to add to the atmosphere of reunion which will occur when all the people of God are gathered together during the Millennial Kingdom.

Nations of the world were represented through various foods and décor.

Israel was seen as the host of the feast through the backdrop of the street scene, the banners of the 12 tribes of Israel, the menorah and star of David, and shofar.

Shalom!

(If you are studying through the book of Micah, I encourage you to enjoy a potluck feast like this with your group.)
