(corresponds to Unit 2, Lessons 4,5,6)
What we think about God is the most important thing about us. When we understand who He is according to the Bible and not our own skewed perspectives, then we will begin to understand the history of the world and the commands of the Bible and God’s plans for the future. Everything relates back to the nature and character of God.
That’s what the Sermon on the Mount is all about. Jesus describes the great goal that God has for His children. It’s nothing less than perfection, because God Himself is perfect. We are to pursue this goal through the power of the Holy Spirit.
You’ll see me draw some pictures at the end of this lesson! I hope they help you understand the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit!
