Souvenirs from New York helped me explain the character and culture of Ancient Ephesus! Our first homework lessons gave us a great overview of the whole letter to the Ephesians and the events that happened when Paul lived there.

My lecture focuses on the first verse of the letter – just the greeting from Paul!  “Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 1:1 (ESV)
