An Ephesians Christmas

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I do love Christmas, and I love to make connections between our Bible study and the joys of the Christmas season.

It’s easy to do this when studying Ephesians because God’s blessings and grace and love overflow from the Scriptures, and Christmas is all because of God’s grace and love for us! I’ll emphasize the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge after sharing a Christmas story, and before singing a fun Christmas song (re-written just for our Ephesians study!)

I also enjoyed illustrating God’s manifold wisdom with this special, handmade quilt given to my daughter. Ephesians 3:10 says: “His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms.” (NIV)

I’ll explain the word “manifold” and talk about the quilt in the video below.

I’ve made 3 clips of each segment of our Ephesians Christmas so that you can enjoy them individually:

#1: An Ephesians Christmas (about the quilt and God’s manifold wisdom)

#2: Story: The Coal Orphan, and comments about the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge

#3: Song: the final verse of The 12 Weeks of Ephesians!
