Psalm 104 parallels the creation account in Genesis in a beautiful way. Genesis 1 describes God’s act of creation logically, giving day by day details. Psalm 104 is free flowing, with delight in God’s work, and uses rich vocabulary.

 Psalm 104 is a call to praise the Lord and marvel at His works!

Psalm 104:1-35   Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty.

This psalm … and all of Scripture… tell us that God is involved… active, powerful in the world on an ongoing basis. If God were to stop handling the needs of the heavens and the earth– disasters beyond our comprehension would begin.
