I would like to introduce you to Psalm 144! This is the last of the psalms of suffering. It is the final prayer for help in the midst of enemies and affliction. The rest of the Psalms – 145 through 150 – are psalms of praise that declare that God does deliver His people.

I’ll explain to you in the video how Psalm 144 fits into the grand scheme of the book of Psalms and corresponds to the eternal timeline as I understand it. But first we’ll get an understanding of what David was praying for when he wrote this psalm.

This is a great psalm of dependence and anticipation! I think once you become familiar with it, you’ll want to pray it during your times of need.
