2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 – Don’t Be Deceived

In 2nd Thessalonians 2:3-10, Paul confidently marches out in front of his brothers and sisters in the faith and explains a few things about the future. The Thessalonians were concerned about the coming of the Day of the Lord and Paul gives them information about the timing of this event.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4   Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s sanctuary, publicizing that he himself is God.

We studied these verses in our workbook, and considered how it is parallel to other Scriptures where the antichrist is described.

I’ll give you a list of the characteristics of the anti-christ in the following video.
