The Lord heard what the people of Israel were saying – that the prophecies weren’t going to happen.

The Israelites doubted God’s word because they were looking at time from their own limited perspective. I don’t know if they thought about time machines back then… but they actually had the closest thing to a time machine ever:  the prophet. 

By listening to the words of the prophets, they could know what was going to happen in the future.

Not because the prophets were capable of time travel… and not because God Himself is a time traveler… but because God Himself is outside of time.

In my lecture, I will focus on the eternality of God.
