Ezekiel 12-16 God of the Covenant

When you study Ezekiel 16, you will see that it is an allegory describing God’s love for Jerusalem portrayed as a husband finding and loving a wife despite her unworthiness and her infidelity. The purpose of this allegory was to show the abominations committed by the nation and to show that because of them, judgment would be carried out. Ezekiel 16:59 and 60 conclude the allegory with the Lord declaring that He would carry out the curses that were a stipulation in the Mosaic Covenant, and He affirmed His unchanging faithfulness to His covenants. Ezekiel 16:59-60   For thus says the Lord GOD: “I will deal with you as you have done, who despised the oath by breaking the covenant.  Nevertheless I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.”

In the video, I will discuss the covenants that the Lord made with Israel, the Abrahamic, Mosaic, and Davidic covenants. And I will highlight the New Covenant that the Lord announced through Ezekiel.

Our God is a covenant-making and a covenant-keeping God. The blessings that Israel and believers receive from Him are incredible.
